1 Buffalo curd

কোম্পানীগঞ্জ উপজেলা
One of the many traditions of Companiganj Upazila is buffalo curd. Buffalo curd is collected from remote areas of this upazila. There are about 600 buffaloes in 60 farms in Charhazari, Musapur, Rampur and Char Elahi. An average of 5,000 liters of milk is produced in these farms every day. The buffalo curd is supplied to different parts of the country including Feni, Noakhali, Dhaka and Chittagong. The buffalo curd produced is very tasty. There are about 20 milk shops in Basurhat Bazar of this upazila.

7 Shahjadpur-Sundalpur gas field

কোম্পানীগঞ্জ উপজেলার সিরাজপুর ইউপির শাহাজাদতপুর গ্রামে অবস্থিত

The Shahjadpur-Sundalpur gas field is located in the village of Shahjadpur under Ward No. 06 of Sirajpur Union under Companyganj upazila of Noakhali district. The Heritage Shahjadpur-Sundalpur Gas Field of Kompaniganj Upazila was inaugurated by Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina on 07 January 2013. Production of this gas field starts from 18-03-2012. From this gas field an average of 5 million cubic feet of gas is added to the national grade daily.
